MBV Bodyshop Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician
Experienced and highly skilled Bodyshop Multi-craft Maintenance Technician/Laser Welding Specialist with 8 years of hands on experience with all MBV Bodyshop equipment, facility maintenance, equipment troubleshooting.
- Highly experienced with current MBV HMI/PLC sequences, graphs, alarms/faults for all production cells for Zones 1,2 and 3.
- Highly skilled with KUKA automation and robotics.
- Highly skilled with Kuka programming for all current production lines in the bodyshop.
- Highly skilled with Robotic weld guns, weld controllers, Arrow manual weld guns/gun swap, calibrating, zeroing etc.
- Understand/very knowledgeable with all current MBV bodyshop production lines process from start to finish for quick troubleshooting.
- Very familiar with SAP parts ordering, work orders and current storage of maintenance parts.
- Performed preventive maintenance on robotics, process stations and process equipment weekly, monthly and yearly based on work order demands.
- AGV operation, troubleshooting, parts replacement.
- Experienced with bodyshop equipment/cell like but not limited too: Framer, both Laser booth cells, Intec gluing guns and system, sidewall carriers, outer and inner sidewall stations, manual stations, stud gun systems, etc.
Laser Welding Specialist
- Engineering level (Tech 3)understanding of all laser equipment currently being used.
- Highly skilled troubleshooting for both laser cells and its process.
- Excellent laser weld quality control. Able to make corrections with the process to improve weld quality.
- Provided training on all laser equipment when necessary.
- Engineering level experience(7 years) with all current laser equipment like but not limited too: ALO3/ALO1/Highyag laser heads, Scansonic adapted laser technologies, Scansonic TH6D guiding system, fiber optic cables, fiber cable modules, Trumpf laser sources, Benzel wire feed equipment, E box controllers, associated water and process air systems that feed the booths.
- Maintained and assisted in parts control for all laser equipment.
- Assisted with process improvement projects for laser technologies to include: Fronius wire feed system replacement and repositioning to 2nd axis; Fiber optic replacement and rerouting; spare mobile cooling unit creation for Trumpf laser sources; Adding/rerouting water piping to Trumpf laser source for 251 and 160 laser cells for spare cooling unit and the install of fourth laser source in 251 cell.
- Developed and cultivated networking with other laser specialists around the world for additional support.
