For the last 5 months with NMI Industrial I have been cutting, fitting, and welding every day 10 hours a day in the NMI shop. This is a fast pase shop with a survival of the fittest attitude. I got lucky with this company. They rarely hire fabricators. Every guy I work with has been fabricating for them for at least 10 years. This is an advanced shop with the latest technology such as water Jet, plasma cutting tables, CNC bar benders and drills. We mainly do Gov contract jobs that requite exact fit and certified inspection to leave the shop.

• Installed Largest die casting machine in the world for Tesla in Fremont Ca. This machine weighs 600,000 tons. Our role for the install was fabricating and installing the huge hydraulic doors of the machine.
• Replaced defective parts of machines and adjusted clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Laid out mounting holes, using measuring instruments, and drilled holes with power drill.
• Installed stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans.
• Operated machine tools to fabricate parts during overhaul, maintenance or setup of machineries.

• Pulled fiber optic cable from building to building underground.
• Built server rooms and installed server racks.
• Did Fiber optic cable splicing.
• Read blueprints and schematics to correctly place equipment.
• Planned layouts and ran cable into buildings and through walls, attics and crawl spaces.
