Throughout the experiences I've had in different jobs, school, and extracurricular activities, I've been conditioned into a hard-working and upbeat individual suited to most work environments. Within my extracurricular activities and professional jobs I have held, I have learned strong individual organization, as well as strong team collaboration skills in order to complete a task suited for a group of individuals. I have also been conditioned to be a skilled multitasker with a superior work ethic. I am willing to take on any task to help a team, as well as stay a reliable and dedicated team player with a hardworking and resourceful approach. I have also learned valuable time-management skills that are necessary to balance out events in my life inside, and outside of my education. As I have progressed throughout my college career so far, I have learned to balance activities with schoolwork so that I am not only staying hard-working in order to get tasks done, but to also enjoy what I do inside and outside of class. With the experiences and knowledge I have had the pleasure of gaining from my different jobs, school, and extracurricular activities, I have become a diligent and hard-working individual looking for a responsibility to take upon.
Outside of my life from my professional career, school, and extracurricular activities, I like to spend my time mainly outside. Growing up in Illinois, there were many places to go outside and enjoy outside activities such as fishing. As I grew older I become much more acclimated to fishing and the beauty there is in the sport. My favorite part about fishing isn't even catching an actual fish, but rather sitting and enjoying the time outside and preparing myself to catch a fish for the entire day. While the actual catch is the reward itself, there is something much more rewarding about preparing with friends and getting ready for a great fishing day outside. Once I moved to the U.P. of Michigan for college in Northern Michigan University, I came to appreciate the beautiful lands of the U.P. our college has to offer. Hiking is something I didn't do too much with my surroundings in Illinois, but once I moved to the U.P. I started to enjoy the outside activity of hiking much more in the beautiful lands I got to enjoy. Being able to explore the lands of the beautiful wilderness and surveying the places I step foot in every day is something I grew to enjoy much more at college. Another activity I cam to enjoy much more at my time here at NMU was the many different frisbee sports I found myself interested in. This ranged from different sports such as ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and even other sports such as guts frisbee. I wasn't very interested in frisbee sports until I came to college here, and as I have spent more time with our ultimate frisbee team, and playing the actual sport, I have come to value frisbee sports as not only something I am skilled at, but also as an activity I value in my life.
