  • My additional duties as patrol supervisor included proofreading and correcting patrols paperwork, teaching guard mount classes, inspecting patrols before the duty day, transportation of minors, and overseeing all major cases
  • As Patrol Supervisor it was also my responsibility to perform duty as the installation desk sergeant and emergency dispatcher

  • As the Unit Armorer I was solely responsible for over 1000 weapon systems
  • I had to write and revise all Standard Operational Procedures for my arms room

  • I had to make sure that all times my arms room was secure and that the intrusion detection system (IDS) was operational
  • During my first combat deployment my mission was to guard over 100 Iraqi prisoners of war on a daily basis
  • Every day I would in process, safe guard, provide basic human needs required by NATO, and out process the prisoners
  • As a patrolmen I provided law enforcement services to support over 113,000 soldiers and civilians on and around Fort Bragg
  • I would respond to crimes, vehicular crashes, fires, medical emergencies, and penetration complaints
  • I would patrol to help prevent crimes and to ensure the safety of the residents and post employees
  • During my second combat deployment I was a heavy machine gun operator
  • I provided security for convoys, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, route clearance, and response to emergency situations
  • During the last three months of my combat deployment I was in charge of the customs travel team
  • My team would travel from installation to installation to search vehicles, containers, and personal bags for unauthorized weapons, spoils of war, contraband and anything that could hurt our ecosystem
