Drive and operate apparatus in a safe and efficient manner according to SOP/SOG. Perform firefighting duties such as fire suppression, search and rescue, ventilation, vehicle extrication, hazardous materials response and technical rescues. Perform basic life support in accordance to Greenville County Protocol, ensuring proper patient care and ethical and moral treatment of the patient. Attended training both in and out of state to build and maintain certifications and training hours.

Began as an interior firefighter responsible for driving, operating apparatus and fulfilling firematic responsibilities as well as patient care with limited manpower. Frequently operated with crews of 1-2 personnel on emergency scenes. After one year received fireman of the year award. Was recently approached by the Chief of department to pursue an officers position to support department growth.

Interior Firefighter responsible for fire suppression, search and rescue, vehicle extrication, patient care and technical rescue. Attended every department training twice a month and staffed apparatus throughout week days with other motivated firemen such as Jake Moffitt, Evan King, and Brad Kuykendall. Attended SC Fire Academy training to receive reciprocity for previous certifications from NY. Received SC EVDT and pursued driving and pumping operations and was promoted to driver after street and pump testing.

Started my career as a junior firefighter for three years attending weekly trainings as well as attending State of New York certification classes. Promoted to full membership in 2014, and obtained all required classes including ICS 100, 200, 700, 800, Firefighter 1 and 2 with FLAG, Firefighter Survival, RIT/FAST, Hazmat Ops, Vehicle Extrication, Pump Ops 1, in house EVOC course, Fire Police, NY State EMT-Basic, Patti Open Water Certification, Ice Rescue Training. Attended weekly trainings and monthly business meetings. Pursued driving and pumping gained experience, but was under the department age to drive emergent.
