Crating Operator at warehouse

* Responsible for printing orders and pulling parts as needed per order to be delivered to the customer.

* Building the crates to be delivered to the customer.

* Perform all necessary maintenance on the pneumatic nail guns, work tops, table saw, miter saws, and all air hoses as needed.

* Clock off all finished crates when the team lead was absent

Receiving Dock Unload Floater

* Unload trucks of inventory and stage them on the dock as they arrive.

* Work thru WMS to locate hot parts from the hot sheet list and get them picked to the main plant as quick as possible.

* Assist the put away team to ensure the dock was empty before the end of the day by putting parts in labeled racks.

* Work in the kanban repack area as staffing was low and assistance was needed to work loads.

Main Plant Line Strider Floater

* Responsible for filling in for absent line striders in the main plant including the north and south dock, new weld building, shipping building, and haytools building.

* Cover vacation for the team leads responsibilities on the north dock, receiving hot truck orders, and OTR truck orders as they arrived and logging them into WMS and JDE.

* Cover vacation and absenses in the kanban put away department as needed.

* Cover team lead duties for the Kanban put away area as needed.

* Set up side panels in the robot welder jigs to be welded before removing the assemblies and transporting them to the next fixture to be welded to the cross members.

* Set up cross member parts in the weld robot jig to be welded by the robot before removing them from the fixture and transporting them across the aisle to be welded to the side panels.

* Load cross members and both side panels into the marriage jig to be hand welded and prepared for the final weld robot before hoisting the final assembly into the robot weld jig.

* Load the lower main frame assembly into the final robot weld jig to be completed.

* Monitor robots as they are completing their weld process to ensure accurate weld positions and proper welds for structure.

* Make necessary changes as needed to the robot to correct issues that are needed.

* Hoist the completed lower main frame to the finishing station.

* Inspect all welds and reweld if necessary.

Laser Operator

* Operated lasers during the material cutting process.

* Unload freshly cut parts to designated carts to be distributed between press brakes, welding, and paint processes.

* Deliver parts to press brakes or holding area to be delivered by forklift operators.

*Reload the steel stacker with material needed for the required jobs.

Press Brake Operator

* Program jobs into the press brake based on blueprints

* Form parts and inspect dimensions based on the blueprint and make adjustments to keep parts within tolerences.

* Calculate standard dimensions on older blueprints and convert them to metric to program the press brakes as needed.

* Complete jobs based on schedule requirements.

* Use JDE to clock off parts and send them to the next operation.

* Lead teams during the rework process to drive fleet numbers to zero.

* Work thru WMS and JDE to manage available inventory to aid in the rework process.

* Develop multiple relationships with team leads, supervisors, planners, and managers to assist in work load management during the rework process.

* Work with teams to assist in the plant layout and assembly process to prepare for the next gen launch.

* Collaborate with engineers to design and build needed carts and LCA racks to improve the assembly process.

* Conduct time studies on assembly jobs to aid in tact time changes as needed.

* Led cross-functional teams to successfully execute complex projects on time and within budget constraints.

* Implemented cost-saving measures, reducing overhead expenses and boosting overall profitability.
