Oversaw operation of heavy machinery to facilitate pipeline extraction and installation of new piping systems. • As a quality control inspector I’m responsible for inspection of a wide variety of aircraft mechanical components, assemblies, accessories, and parts that have been overhauled, modified, or repaired by trade workers. Items inspected include various models of hoists, ejector racks, main drive shafts, tail rotor drive shafts, environmental control units, suspension cargo hooks, turbine fans, rotary actuators, hot air mixing valves, hot air bleed valves, transmission oil bypass valves, regulator pressure shut-off valves, oil coolers and other items with varied characteristics from different aircraft systems. Performs in-process and final acceptance inspections. Monitors testing of items and/or performs static or operational tests. I assure that all work processes accomplished meet established quality control criteria.

• As a Journeyman level aircraft mechanic with the Analytical Investigation Bureau I would disassemble a variety of components, engines, transmissions, swashplates, gear boxes, rotor heads, etc. I conducted examinations and evaluations of a variety of Army, Navy, and /or Airforce aircraft, inclusive of the different systems, subsystems, components, and subcomponents, and parts thereof. I have extensive knowledge of various aircraft and maintenance techniques involving all the different systems and subsystems. In addition, I have a comprehensive knowledge of various repair, overhaul, maintenance, rework, test and modification procedures. I am able to read, interpret, and apply technical data, as required to meet contractual commitments without degradation of safety or quality. I have currant and up-to-date knowledge of aviation technology and terminology. As a journeyman level aircraft mechanic and quality control inspector I have extensive experience working the whole aircraft using technical data and assigned tools/equipment.

• As a Civilian Aircraft Mechanic / Crew Chief I maintain depot level rotary wing aircraft. Prepare for and conduct flight hour or by date inspections. • Safety Officer is directly responsible for providing guidance to the Brigade Command Team to mitigate safety risk of all Soldiers and equipment. To protect and preserve Army personnel and property against accidental loss. To stay currant on all OSHA and Army regulations. • Unit Prevention Leader serves as the commander's direct representative to plan, manage and implement the Biochemical Testing Program for all soldiers assigned to the Battalions Rear Detachment. Keeps the commander up to date with all changes in the Biochemical testing program. Conduct urinalysis to ensure the readiness of the Soldiers prior to their departure to a combat theater. Responsible for referring soldiers to Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program. Assisted other Battalions Rear Detachments in meeting their testing requirements. Ensure all Soldiers read, understand, and adhere to collection procedures. Follow all testing procedures in accordance with all regulations. In charge of training for Alcohol and Drug Awareness, ensuring that four hours of training per year is conducted for each Soldier. My Duties included conducting biochemical testing collection, and ship urine specimens to Forensic Drug Testing Laboratories (FDTL). Prepare biochemical urinalysis documentation and labeling of samples; Conducts and/or monitor breath alcohol test procedures Verifies, calibrates and performs accuracy checks IAW the instrument manufacturer's Quality Assurance Program (QAP). Serves as the training instructor and certifying official for all Installation Breath Alcohol Test Technicians (BAT) and all other classes dealing with breath alcohol testing. • As a Crew chief in the Army I assisted in maintaining 6 UH 60L Blackhawks. Performed proper communications and duties in flight operations. Safely transported passengers and prisoners of war without a single loss or injury. Obtained readiness level 1 from level 3 in just 30 days. Successfully completing my APART. Flew 264 flight hours in 6 months. Flawlessly maintained all maintenance records in conjunction with FFA regulations. Assisted in our company maintaining a 95% operational readiness at all times in a combat theater. I did troubleshoot and rework aircraft turbine engines, major modules, components, assemblies and/or sub-assemblies that fail performance runs. I have performed a wide range of maintenance and inspection work on rotary wing aircraft systems, subsystems and components to include removal, trouble shooting, analysis, repairs, rebuild, modification, installation, replacement, adjustments, drive system alignments, flight control rigging, hydraulic system plumbing, torques, disassembly, functional operations and checks. Independently perform the above on aircraft singular and integrated systems to include Apache longbow, Blackhawk and Chinooks. Diagnose and isolate malfunctions.
