  • Advising international military students and dependents on medical issues, insurance, and claims.
  • In-process the incoming international students and their family, which includes the quarterly medical brief providing a welcome aboard package with authorization of disclosure of Medical or Dental information (DD Form 2870).
  • Register the international Military Student and their dependents into MHS Genesis.
  • Educate IMS and their dependents on navigating and accessing services in the purchased and direct care system.
  • Explain the medical bills and explanation of benefits they receive from the insurance companies and providers as well as explain the Urgent and Emergency medical care procedures.
