  • My job included processing identity verification for customers wanting to rent a condo, like through VRBO or AirBnB. I was tasked with determining if someone attempting to make a reservation could be potentially fraudulent. As the supervisor for my team, when someone was denied a reservation, I would take the escalated call. My duties also included data entry with spreadsheets, scanning incoming reservations from all over the world to determine if the payment method used was fraudulent or not. My calls consisted of people asking why they failed the identity verification process, and passing their verification manually if applicable.
