A course that provides principle advisors, education in organizational behavior theories, philosophies, techniques, and practices required to advise and assist commanders, and who possess the competencies and ethical grounding to serve in senior leadership positions.
Graduates will be able to serve as principle advisors, who are educated in organizational behavior theories, practices to mentor and counsel subordinate personnel in military performance, deployment readiness, physical fitness, personal finance, family readiness, and team building, and possess the competencies and ethical grounding to serve in senior leadership positions.
Advanced School is an intermediate level course, providing a more progressive level of learning about various aspects of ethical leadership, professional war fighting, and sound decision making. Also focusing on theories of Marine Corps command and control, challenges of leadership development, and a better understanding of the translation of policy into action.
