• As a Park Repair Worker II, my duties include repairing playground equipment, repairing water mains, maintaining and replacing valves as needed, controller diagnosis and repair, removing and replacing concrete and asphalt, and repairing drinking fountains, as well as wood and metal work fabrication. I use all power tools and hand tools needed to repair these facilities, tools such as angle grinders, drills, Sawzall, concrete cutters, screwdrivers, pliers, clamps, slide hammers, circular saws, jigsaws, oscillating tools, and other tools needed for the job.

• As M2, I performed jobs very similar to those of a Park Repair Worker II. I did all that was listed in the park repair worker, plus the following: I followed a self-made seasonal spray program, and I maintained seasonal irrigation programs. I also maintained indoor facilities. I snaked waste lines, diagnosed and replaced faucets and electronic flushers, repaired sliding glass doors, demoed and built walls using steel framing, copper sweating, and lamp replacement. I was also good with direct public interaction, and I learned customer service skills over the years.

As a maintenance worker, I pressure washed sidewalks and facilities, planted trees, flowers, and sod, installed both drip and standard irrigation, sprayed chemicals, and occasionally assisted painters and HVAC with duties that fell within my scope.

As a maintenance assistant, I trimmed limbs, removed trash, mowed, edged, blew leaves, sprayed, and removed urinals and toilets for maintenance. General house cleaning.
