- I had to use hand tools, air tools, and machine presses to disassemble cylinder heads. I had to also throw away scrap parts and keep certain parts from certain series of heads. I also had to use a small overhead crane to lift the heads up onto the rollers. I was also using a electric pallet jack to bring in the boxes they were stored in.

- I had to drive a tugger to deliver certain parts to different stations/areas around the facility and refill the part holder. I had to use a tablet on the tugger that told me the area it’s supposed to go in and the specific spot. I was also responsible for returning the refilled parts back to the staging area. I also had to drive a forklift and take empty part holders off the robot train. I also had to take those empty’s and put them in specific areas and put full parts on the train.

- I had to process different products the came down the line and had to deem it sellable or unsellable. I had to answer questions on a computer and look at the package to see which specific tote it goes in. I also did indirect work while I was there which included trash and end of line. Trash consisted of me taking a pallet jack and take full Gaylord’s (cardboard trash bins) back to the metal detector. I then have to put the Gaylord on a lift that dumps the trash bags out and they’re taken away on a conveyor belt. I then had to remove all the ones that had metal in it and put in a separate Gaylord. After I go through them all the ones that has metal in it I take it to the trash compactor and I dump it into there. End of line consists of me taking each different tote and down stack them onto pallets and once they reach a certain height they’re then Saran Wrapped. Then we scan the barcodes in correctly so that they’re in the system and then they’re taken to the staging area where they’re then stacked by a forklift and Saran Wrapped again and put onto a truck.
