1998 through 2005
Prepared highway design plans and construction contract documents. Design using Road Calc software and Drainage design using the Rational Method and SCS Hydrological Method. Used AASHTO and WASHDOT Standards in profile and alignment design. Performed earthwork calculations using Road Calc. Attended public meetings to present the projects i designed to the affected public for their input.
2005 through 2018
Was the Development Engineer in charge of plans and construction specifications review and approval for private developer subdivisions. I processed and approved the construction materials also. Reviewed traffic and transportation submittals for the projects. Attended the Plat Hearings for the Project in front of the Hearing Examiner and recommended approval or disapproval of said projects. Once construction was completed i signed off on approval of the as-built construction plans.
