  • Responsible for 5 separate departments to include: Drayage/dispatching, transload, refrigeration, maintenance, and yard rail operations.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of 800 intermodal containers via train per week to facilitate timely on dock service to the port of Los Angeles, CA and port of Long Beach, CA.
  • Oversee the weekly loading, maintenance, staging, and security of 60 refrigerated containers with cargo valuing up to $150-300k per container.
  • Oversee and coordinate the transloading of agricultural products into 60-70 intermodal containers per day. Totaling up to 3.5 million lbs of customer product transloaded on site ensure timely loading, proper handling, and accurate documentation to reach overseas markets.
  • Coordinate with BNSF and RMG logistics to maximize train velocity through the Fremont terminal, minimizing intermodal container and railcar dwell times.
  • Designed and implemented an on site safety program resulting in 0 injuries for the current year down from 8 injuries the year prior. My LTIR currently stands at zero.
  • Was an integral part of rectifying a pre-existing OSHA investigation resulting in 28 serious citations and over $300K in fines. Worked diligently with COO and attorneys to drop the fines to $175k in total and reclassify down to 16 citations.
  • Revamped the maintenance department in order to deliver 90% uptime for container handlers and vital equipment. Prior year was under 50%.
  • Developed a preventative maintenance program for all rolling stock totaling 36 pieces of equipment. Decreased maintenance expense by $50K per month.
