• Commercial owner for the ODM/JDM and strategic commodity business partnerships, managing a ~$1.5 billion business across 35 product families and over 450 SKUs.
• Directly responsible for total product cost, quality, supply, and technology strategy alignment, overseeing sourcing and strategic partnerships with manufacturing partners in China and Thailand.
• Spearheaded the outsourced flash supply chain strategy, successfully developing a competitive business that grew from ~50K units in 2018 to over 1 million units in 2019 without Seagate ownership of the core technology.
• Built and led the Global Commodity, JDM/ODM, and Product Operations Teams, institutionalizing the supplier scorecard and QBR process for the Seagate Retail business.
• Successfully executed the China mitigation strategy by transitioning two major JDM partners to Thailand, which successfully positioned the company against US tariffs and rising China labor costs.
• Partnered closely with Hardware Engineering and Operations Managers to continuously improve hardware delivery processes and ensure a best-in-class outsourced manufacturing model.
