Independently perform access control duties in accordance with appropriate regulations to detect and prevent harm, accident and espionage. *Instructed fellow employees and soldiers up to 10 in specific duties and job techniques to ensure proper procedures is conducted. Enforce Visitor Center regulations to customers accordingly. Provide clerks with assistance and guidance on final decisions within standard operating procedures. Explains policies and procedures to over 800 patrons weekly. Opens and/or closes four facilities and assuring security system is operable. Records patron information and issues daily/monthly membership. Verifies identification through use of identification cards, badges. Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility. Issues/receives 25 to 50 recreational equipment to authorized users. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers, explains use, and monitors proper usage. -Prepares requirement lists for over 100 facility’s supplies and equipment due to demand or need for replacement items. Participate in physical inventory. inventories and condition of items on hand to analyze usage and increase participation. Aided in hosting and organizing MWR SFA special events. Trained and mentored multiple Recreation Assistants on job duties and operations, ensuring their success in the workplace. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to four Recreation Assistants and two Custodians by aiding in clerical, custodial and maintenance responsibilities.
