Summary

I spent over twenty years with the United States Army. I started out in the infantry and went on to train in the Special Forces/Special Operations. I have been a veteran of numerous conflicts in the past 20 years. Injured and wounded in 2009, I spent three years at BAMC to recover and rehabilitate. Being 100% disabled I have not worked since my retirement and have chosen to continue my education with the goal of obtaining a PhD and teaching at the college level.

Professional Painter

  • Am a professional painter of historical miniatures of various scales and various time periods.
  • This is a form of side business on a moderate scale.
  • Focus mainly on the Napoleonic Era, the American Civil War, and that of ancient Rome and its enemies.
  • Have done historical presentations in schools with various painted armies on topics such as the Aztecs, the Alamo, Ceasar's army of Gaul, and the battles of Gettysburg and Waterloo.

  • Had two teams attend the PONY World Series in Louisana in 2016.
