As a Student Director of Bulldog Beat, I oversee all aspects of the pep band’s operations, including conducting rehearsals and managing communication with the Assistant Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement during volleyball and basketball games. I am responsible for creating and coordinating the game schedules for Beat and ensuring effective collaboration between the two Bulldog Beats. Additionally, I contributed to the recruitment efforts by directing and producing the recording of two songs for a recruitment video. I also coordinated and executed the Bulldog Beat tour.
As a Bulldog Marching Band Section Leader, I support my trombone section through rehearsals, coordinating logistics from game-day performances, and facilitating skill-building among members. I will align with our band goals, manage communication within the section, and foster a collaborative environment to elevate performance quality.
As a touring trombone player with School Yard Rap, I performed as part of a dynamic group that blends brass, jazz, and rap elements. I contributed to live performances across multiple venues in Los Angeles, engaging diverse audiences with high-energy music and interactive performances. I was responsible for writing 3-part horn parts for trombone, tenor saxophone, and trumpet.
