I’m a career-switcher transitioning from hands-on work with animals into the tech field. In animal care environments, I developed strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm under pressure—often troubleshooting unpredictable situations where quick, ethical decisions mattered. I’m used to documenting observations, following strict protocols, and adapting to new systems and tools quickly.
Alongside this experience, I’ve been actively building my technical skills through self-directed learning and practical projects, driven by curiosity and a love of systems, structure, and optimization. My background gives me a user-focused mindset, patience with complex problems, and a strong sense of responsibility—qualities I’m excited to apply in a technical role while continuing to grow as a technologist.
