  • Coordinate transfers of heavy equipment, security equipment, vehicles, office supplies and office furniture Afghanistan- wide to ensure that equipment is utilized to the maximum extent before it is disposed of
  • Coordinate the issue of ammunition to arriving military members and ensure that they return unused ammunition at the end of their tour of duty
  • Perform administrative functions for the Department of Logistics, including analysis of current ongoing projects to determine their continued usefulness to the Shindand Garrison and researching effective methods to complete projects tasked out from U.S. Forces - Afghanistan (USFOR-A). Report projects that are no longer useful or that are not cost effective to the Garrison Commander for review with the goal of saving the Government money that could be better spent elsewhere in the AOR.
