I have 20 years of Police experience. I am a quick-thinking Police Officer skilled in assessing risks and making critical decisions under pressure. Trained in crisis management, defensive tactics and appropriate use of different techniques. Dedicated to minimizing use of force and maximizing positive outcomes. I have taught Mental Health, Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention in the NYS Police Academy located in Broome County for 8 years and 1 year in Oswego County. I have 8 years of being a team member with the Tactical Response Unit for Cortland City Police. I often work closely with Cortland's SRO on many occasions which also includes working sporting events as security. I have assisted the Cortland SRO with teaching Classes at Cortland City School on many occasions. I believe in working as a team and finding solutions to problems together with other team members. I am a strong believer in having an open mind when confronted with situations that need to be solved. I am a highly motivated individual that enjoys watching others succeed in life. I enjoy interacting with the public and creating and positive interaction.

Worked as a Patrol Officer for 20 years which consisted of:

  • Daily patrol of the City streets.
  • Answering calls of service such as domestics, larcenies, burglaries, fights in progress, disorderly people, assisting people with advice, assisting with medical emergencies ect..
