Great Catch Award Winner for September 2024
I was honored to receive the Great Catch Award for the month of September. I had a patient who's heart rhythm was atrial fibrillation with a rapid ventricular rate and was receiving a Diltiazem drip. While managing five other patients, I was able to recognize the conversion of the patient's heart rhythm and get the drip discontinued before the patient's blood pressure was affected.
