I was in charge of molding the vinyl for the dash boards for the 2017-18 GMC moldals. I ran a machine that melt & molded onto dash board frame with over 275 heat zones, making sure everyone had the proper heat to mold not burn, if a zone lost heat had to inspect it fix or replace, a lot of preheat & trail runs. Had multiple colors & designs, I had to load making sure vinyl was stocked ready to run. I became the main crew member for that machine. I was sent to making glove boxes where i soon became leader over. I was about to be sent to michigan to tend to college for a tech spot in antolin.
I was hired as a reglur bulk pasta machine operator, make egg noodles & spaghetti noodles after a few months I was running 4 of the 7 moving machines they had. Includes elbow, macaroni, special design, rotini, Laguna, even started training. After about year or 2 I was stepped up to leadman, where my hobby was to help other operators with trouble shooting their mixers, change overs, shutting down & starting up, making sure blowers, fans, water flow, airlocks, shakers, sprockets & chains was in working conditions, checking packing on water pumps, cleaning the containers that hold the water, checking pipes that blow the tower making sure there's no clogs "if so I would have to unclog". Basically making sure my shift "crew" was able to run. Checking fans & fan speeds if needed replace, checking the radiators for leaks if needed replaced, same for screens either patch or replace, checking the bars in the screens if they was missing or bent fix or replace. I also became the assistant supervisor basically fill in when supervisor wasn't present, making sure my crew was there & in order set to run. Checking the moister in samples. I would have to be there early "them days" making sure everything was ready to start ovens heated up, boiler on heated, power to mixers, dies & die plates was clean ready to use, mixers clean & ready to fill. In that time I was employed there I was also included in a project crew. I was building, messure, cutting metal & welding applying vibrators on tanks, invold in spacial runs. In my time employed there I was CPR certified & half electrician certified with john a logan.
