In this department, I’ve gained experience in shipping various types of orders, including Novartis, Wave Light, samples, and temperature control orders that are being removed from freezers. I’m certified in operating all equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, VNAs, order pickers, and reach trucks. Additionally, I’ve developed skills in loading trucks, including loading in patterns and ensuring load security by using load bars and airbags. This responsibility also entailed thoroughly checking products against the Bill of Lading. I’ve learned to apply seals and file paperwork for records. Furthermore, I’ve completed multiple cross-training sessions in other departments, such as receiving, OSR, redress, inventory, and more.

I operated both manual and automatic trucks. I wasn’t interested in picking up at locations within the DFW area to deliver to Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and other states.
