My journey, marked by a commitment to safety and continuous learning, showcases my ability to adapt and excel in diverse electrical environments. Whie being a service electrician I really found my 'niche' in the electrical world. As I mentioned earlier in my work history the fast paced, on your toes, troubleshooting style of work service brings really made me ENJOY my time in the trade. As well as helping me grow as a person.

  • Worked under supervision of journeyman electrician to learn trade and develop electrical knowledge.
  • Terminated wiring and connected circuits with correct techniques.
  • Gained proficiency in operating various power tools such as drills, saws, crimpers, and wire strippers for efficient completion of electrical tasks.
  • Pulled EMT and PVC conduit wire according to plans and code requirements.
  • Supported project success by assisting with wiring layouts, conduit bending, circuit connections, and other essential tasks as directed by senior electricians.
  • Spent 2 years of my time with SeaTac in a service van completing 4-5 jobs a day on average. Learning how to to be self sufficient, productive, and how to improvise in code appropriate ways.

  • Drove my own van for the last year of the job to assist in other small residential projects. Had helpers with similar or lesser experience than myself.
  • Being on my own really helped me learn to read prints and become self sufficient.
  • Only left this job because i moved to Washington.

  • Safety awareness, Always important to have 360 awareness
  • Heavy lifting, I keep myself in good shape outside of work and can easily lift 50lb over my head
  • Dependable and responsible, this trade has really helped me develop as a man and an adult in terms of holding myself accountable
  • Troubleshooting skills, as over half my time as an electrician has been in service, troubleshooting was a crucial skill to learn
  • Proficient at pipe bending, pipe bending was probably the first thing I considered myself ACTUALLY good as I have progressed through the trade
  • Self sufficient, The only person you truly have is yourself and its important to be able to rely on YOU
  • Hand and power tools
  • Commercial construction experience
  • Boom/Scissor lift operation, every company i have worked at has required yearly training to stay current and competent while operating lifts
  • National electric code, I carry my code book with me in my car at all times If I don't know the answer I can always find it
  • Lockout and tagout procedures, it took getting shocked good 1 time for me to never take lock out tag out seriously again lightly SAFETY FIRST
