Joseph Wagner

I have been a writer since I was young. Recently I have spent the last decade covering technical aspects and fundamentals to forecast gold and Bitcoin futures. I began my career in the financial sector as an editor and copywriter of my father’s daily articles (published on Kitco) produced for his paid service and other notable financial media outlets. My dad brought the first trading software to market that identified and executed trades based upon Japanese Candlesticks and their patterns. He has written several books on that subject. I know this is not an application for my dad. I mentioned this because other than extraordinary teachers, he was my mentor. When I first worked for his company, I had very little interest in the financial markets. That all changed in 2017 when I was finally introduced to Bitcoin. Since that time, I have been writing crypto-related content for our website Thegoldforecast.com. I feel my unique and witty bi-weekly articles are not getting out to the people who can genuinely benefit from them, and I believe I am not being utilized to my full potential. Some of my notable achievements include being published as a co-author in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine for mine and my father’s joint thesis regarding the long-term Supercycle in gold. I enjoy writing in an artsier style as well and spent much of my youth drawing out comics and had published poetry by age 13. I also am proficient in songwriting (lyrics, guitar), very experienced in Camtasia for video production as well as some experience in Adobe Premier Pro and Photoshop. Recently started to pick up knowledge on technical hardware. An accomplished two-stroke mechanic and enthusiast. I enjoy writing pieces that make the reader think differently and question their previous assumptions, and hopefully excite them for the future potential.
