Joseph Michael Lorenzi

My primary role with the Bemidji Police Department is to serve and protect the community. I do this by actively patrolling the city, respond to calls for service in a timely and professional matter and building positive relationships with the members of the community.

I am currently assigned to the Bemidji High School as a School Rescues Officer. I have been in this role since September of 2020.

In addition to my role as an SRO, I am currently an operator with the Beltrami County Headwaters SWAT team (since July of 2019) and a Defensive Tactics instructor, certified through the MN based, Storm training group (since June of 2023).

My primary role as a Police Officer with he city of Verndale was to protect and serve the community. I did this by actively patrolling the city, responding to calls in a timely and professional matter and building positive relationships with the members of the community.

I also worked in the Verndale School where I continued to build positive and professional relationships with students and staff while maintaining the security of the facility.

I work with several other loggers to cut down, load and deliver wood from the timber site. I operate several machines throughout the site including a Grapple Skidder, Slasher and Sheer.

I coordinate with the director of photography to set up sets to film commercials, videos and other advertising productions. I am in charge of maintain equipment, transportation to and from sets, accommodating clients and making sure each set is set up to the directors of photography's specifications.

• I work with students ranging from 1st through 5th grade in a level 3 EBD (Emotional & Behavioral Disorders) setting as well as in main stream classrooms on their day to day school work, along with working on goals set forth from their IEP's (Individual Education Program).
• Charting and recording accurate information in student files.
• Tracking student activity in and out of the classroom by documenting times and destinations of students.
• Quickly responding to crisis situations when behavioral issues arise.
• Practicing anger management techniques, relaxation skills, impulse control, social skills, emotional coping skills and functional living skills.

• Salary: $500.00 Per Month Hours Per Week: 40+, I create fitness plans and train customers in boxing, kick boxing, and self-defense.

• matches through USA Boxing as well as develop training routines for new and experienced boxers.
• I oversee all aspects of finances and advertising.
• I am responsible for employee hiring and quarterly evaluations. I currently supervise 8 coaches and staff.

• As a role model in the gym, I take pride in teaching discipline, respect, honor, as well as self-respect to the youth who take part in activities at the gym.
