Jose Ricardo Martinez Salas

I started playing when I was 8 years old,

• Since was a child, when played in the men's 8-9 years old category in the Central Zone at a regional level, managed to position myself among the best five players in the zone, which gave the right to participate in the most important national tournament in Mexico for youth categories, called Interzonas.
• From there I have remained among the best players at regional and even national level, achieving the qualification to participate in two world golf tournaments: US KIDS WORLD TEEN CHAMPIONSHIP 2019 and 2023.
• In the last Match Play Aguascalientes Club Campestre 2023 Tournament, played by the best golfers in the State, I managed to break my record with a score of 67 strokes, which represents -5 under par.
• In June 2023 I was invited by Coach and Professional Player Jose Manuel Peralta to train with him in Madrid, Spain. There I was able to improve my technique and achieve a better performance with less effort in the impact to the ball.
• In October 2023, I received a recognition from the Governor of Aguascalientes Tere Jimenez for my golf career and my performance representing Aguascalientes in the 2023 World Golf Championship.
• I represented my city in the CONADE Nationals (Junior Golf Olympics), which took place the first week of June 2024, in the state of Campeche.
