Over three seasons i have been on four different crew. Each crew was run in a different way, which allowed me to better myself as a firefighter. From each crew i have learned different things which has enabled me to compile knowledge that can help me in the field. I am always looking to take the next step in bettering myself as a person and professional firefighter.

04.2022 - Current
- season 1: started on crew 1, operated as a Pulaski. Then moved to form crew 3 and operated a Pulaski, focusing on cutting hand line to effectively contain wildfire spread inaccessible terrains.
- Season 2: started on crew three then was asked to take a lead role for crew 5 that was being formed. I was the safety for crew 5, responsible for monitoring the hand line and making sure every one was safe And watching our back door for anything that may creep up.
- Season 3: remained on crew 5 but was able to go to school to get my EMT once i got done i went back to being the safety and continuing my role there.
- As a hand crew we conducted hand line, Cutting in remote areas, often inaccessible to engines and dozers, to create fire containment lines and buffer zones, utilizing strategic firing operations as necessary to control fire behavior.
- Over the course of three seasons i have learned allot about fire behavior and im continuing to learn more and expand my knowledge.
