Maintain streets and roads throughout the city repair potholes, maintain/repair sidewalks, maintain/repair street lighting, maintain traffic control system, set up and take down work zones, temporary traffic control, cut grass, clear snow during winter weather respond to weather emergencies preform some light mechanical work and maintaining equipment and vehicles and all other duties as needed. Equipment used include operating brush truck, multiple sized dump trucks, snow plows, skid steer, backhoe, small excavator, asphalt roller, asphalt hotbox, zero turn mowers, mower max machine, mulch machine, wood chipper, bucket truck.

Performed monthly maintenance inspections of interstate highways, and state route roadways. Performed, and documented inspections on damaged guard rails. Inspected and followed state contractors for interstate sweeping, litter pick up and mowing. Other duties, hauling equipment to and from job sites, snow removal, pothole repair, interstate and state route milling and paving jobs. Set up and take down work zones and preformed temporary traffic control for interstate incidents.
