  • I also review and apply the regulations and principles of the appropriate tenancy rule to determine the accuracy of the revenue and taxation code,which is used when evaluating the reassessment codes
  • Audit Assessment Appeals application from the Office of the Clerk of the Board. This involves verifying the accuracy on the appeals application as well as having the interpretative ability to determine the "Issue Type" in order to determine which district to assign the Assessment Appeals
  • Process pending and completed Stipulations - I review the Stipulations for accuracy; rejected Stipulations are returned to the appropriate staff for corrections
  • Process and enter Board results of the Appeals in the Assessor's system
  • Review and process Tentative Agenda in the system, including uploading supporting documents and providing the information to County Counsel, and internal divisions;
  • Review, evaluate, correct and perform quality control on a variety of electronic data processing documents, systems and Assessor's source documents, to determine intended action, accuracy, completeness and that data conforms with all applicable codes, rules and regulations
  • I also review and reconcile complex assessments to ensure correct enrollment of values on the regular and supplemental rolls which requires frequent coordination of information with appraisal staff
