I am currently in charge of 3 four-man crews consisting of Journeyman Lineman, Apprentices, and Operators.

We are currently doing daily work on overhead and underground distribution consisting of multiple circuit rebuilds, new customer installs, circuit reliability with smart grid reclosers, capacitor, and regulators, Circuit sectionalization with fuse coordination, and Circuit Ground Line Treatment of deteriorating poles found in field. We also respond on emergency incidents such as car accidents and weather. We travel for mutual assistance on other Duke Energy properties and to other utilities during weather emergencies.

The last storm I was in charge of I had 6 four-man crews. Crews were given multiple circuits to run out and find any problems. My crews work efficiently and restored power to all customers. We were thanked by the local utility for all our hard work, organization, professionalism and doing it all safely with no safety violations.

We spent 2 weeks doing various power restorations from pole change outs, spans of conductor installed, house service repairs, to transformer replacements. At the end of the storm we had no incidents or accidents.

In 25 years of doing line work I've had no injures or accidents on my jobsites.

I oversaw a four man crew and was doing work consisting of new underground services installation and overhead circuit work. We had a lot of young apprentices, so I was in charge of training 2 apprentices on my crew and once they advanced I was given the next set of Apprentices. I was in charge of scheduling outages, daily safely briefings, circuit reclosing, work production schedule, billing of work completed daily.  I was on a rotation on weekly service watch at night taking care of any trouble calls.

I have always been told I am patient and good with teaching all of my apprentices.

I oversaw a four man crew and was doing work consisting of new underground services installation and overhead circuit work. The utility I worked for did not use contractors much, so we worked on everything from overhead and underground distribution primary circuits to Transmission circuits. I was in charge of scheduling outages, daily safely briefings, circuit reclosing, work production schedule, billing of work completed daily.  I was on a rotation on weekly service watch at night taking care of any trouble calls.

I was in charge of instruction of all apprentices at LU once I was a young lineman. I always have enjoyed helping build the next generation of lineman.
