Grade for various things such as roadways and curb. Know how to read and understand the plans as well as the grade stakes. Also direct the crew on what is to be done that done.

I was in charge of the mass cuts. I was an excavator operator loading haul trucks. So I had to understand what it was I was digging for and know how to read grade.

• Performed maintenance and reconducting work in varied weather conditions.
• Responded to emergencies and outages that required additional labor and assistance for repairs.
• Worked on both dead and energized lines.
• Removed old poles and hardware and replaced with new equipment.
• Installed, spliced and maintained overhead and underground power lines for residential and commercial customers.

I was in training to become a surveyor. I was in charge of staking out for curb and sidewalk. Also was learning how to use the robot to survey for new construction.
