  • Managed and administered multi-cluster Splunk environment, encompassing [X] clusters and 16 indexers, serving 2 TBs of data per day.
  • Created custom Splunk apps, dashboards, and reports tailored to the needs of various business units, enabling stakeholders to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Orchestrated Splunk forwarder deployment, configuration, and maintenance across heterogeneous platforms, ensuring data collection from diverse sources.
  • Monitored system health, capacity, and performance metrics, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues.
  • Create several Ansible playbooks to automate a lot of Splunk administration task, such as changing alert ownership, account creation, git control, removing a particular email from all alerts, disabling alert etc.
  • I was responsible to help create scripts base on needs, this included PowerShell, Bash and Ansible.
  • Took part in a observability mass migration project that moved all APM monitoring from AppDynamics to Dynatrace.
  • Set up the current environment to enable self-healing triggers from Splunk alerts using an Ansible tower.
  • Ensuring support tickets are fully updated with the most current data. Provide proper escalations and handoffs to management and support staff.
