I am an extremely intelligent, highly-motivated Manager that learns quickly and retains information well. I am naturally curious and inquisitive, which often leads me to want to know as much as possible about any given subject matter. I am adept at delegating tasks and managing people, often doing more with less.
I learned our own industry very quickly and was able to commit to memory nearly our entire catalogue of hundreds of items, and the components needed to produce those items, in just a matter of months. After years of growth, my grasp and understanding have only grown. I am very dedicated and particularly committed to work. I prioritize it over almost everything because a strong work ethic was engrained in me at an early age. I posses a zealotry for the job that is increasingly rare I believe.
I thrive under pressure and excel when the stakes are high. That is one of the reasons we have had so much success in Elk Grove, often shipping as much as locations 2-3 times our size. John and I have worked in tandem for nearly 14 years to cultivate a culture of excellence where we expect the best from not just our employees but ourselves.
I am, and have always been, willing to do whatever is required to advance the interests of the Company, including traveling or relocating.
I oversee the day to day operations of the warehouse in Elk Grove Village which entails a vast array of responsibilities including, but not limited to:
- Reviewing orders to prioritize and plan according to time sensitivity and feasibility
- Ensuring the accuracy and timely shipping of all orders and the adherence to vendor compliance guidelines
- Monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with production, The Operations Manager, and other Icon facilities to keep products in stock
- The organizing and storage of all inbound items including all products produced in house
- Developing and implementing job descriptions and duties for subordinate warehouse employees
- Enforcing company policies and procedures and adherence to safety protocols
- Any and all tasks required to maintain and ensure an efficient, productive, safe facility in the absence of the Operations Mnagaer
As the Production Manager at our former Itasca Plant, I oversaw the entirety of paper production and sundries packaging which included:
- Reviewing orders to determine what needed to be produced
- Coordinating with Production Supervisors and Machine Operators to determine which items were ran on which machines at what times to produce and fulfill orders
- Maintaining both Production and Sundries scheduling sheets to optimize production and maximize efficiency
I started at Trimaco in early 2012 and did a little bit of everything. I began in Production as a packer then quickly learned the machines and became a Machine Operator. The Plant Manager and former Warehouse Manager were impressed at how fast I learned and how hard I was willing to work and moved me to the warehouse where I began pulling and shipping orders. After about 2 years, I was promoted to the first ever Production Manager in Site 8.
