Accomplishments

  • Advanced and selected by USAA Insurance as one of four veterans nationwide, showcasing a "week in the life of" followed by my live performance on their "BASEFest" concert tour benefitting military and veteran families at bases from Florida to California. Struck by our "Do Good, Feel Good" philosophy of service and charitable causes, we accepted (with humility), the USAA "Patriot of Sound" title.
  • Executing direct action from a chance office conversation, myself, alongside a few like minded men sought out to do what we'd labeled "Active Community Contribution" simply as a means of public engagement and shared sweat equity. This quickly evolved into building a foundation of strong relationships, mentoring countless youth and implementing volunteer work crews to readily upgrade schools, clean and care for the grounds, facilities, and improve learning environments throughout South Georgia. Pioneering the idea of "ACC" provided outstanding implementation of community awareness, but the best was yet to come...
  • The U.S. Department of the Navy alongside Submarine Squadron 20 Group Commander took notice of our crew stationed onboard the U.S.S. Maryland, thus supporting a namesake state visit to Maryland and the Adopt-A-Highway program. This small, yet massive combined effort highly publicized the power of leading with heart and raw desire to spread positivity, and will sacrifice when called upon. I'm sure in my heart of hearts that the communities and people that we had the honor to laugh and cry with, still pass it forward to this day.
