As a new management partner at UPS I was required to attend a two week training/development class. The group I led during this time,achieved and earned two awards. One was for business simulation. Out of five teams we did a week long operation simulation and the goal was to achieve the highest profit at the end. Included elements of service, safety, and production.
The second award our team won was Hub Challenge. It was a point system kept throughout the two weeks based off different challenges throughout the class. Examples: communication skills, demonstrations, and critical thinking.
