Summary
All my work life I have been in the HVAC and electrical field, I appreciate and respect these trades but the companies I have worked for lacked opportunity and recently I have been looking for a job that I can view as a career and not something that just gets me to the next day. I feel most accomplished performing tasks away from a desk and getting my hands dirty on a jobsite. All of my trade knowledge has been through hands on training at PLB Electric and Jacksonville Heating Contractors. My time working in the electrical field was mainly in a residential application, rewiring houses or troubleshooting issues. All my HVAC experience has been on commercial jobsites in Jacksonville NC and on Marine Corps base Camp Lejeune. My biggest takeaway from all this experience is that all jobsites are different, and you may step foot on one where you do not completely understand every product that you are working with, so being adaptable to new tools and equipment pertaining to the job at hand is always a necessity and especially one when looking for a new line of work.
