Balancing the roles of server, caretaker for my mother, student, worker, and art teacher has been an incredibly demanding journey with each responsibility presenting its own set of emotional, physical, and mental challenges. As a server, I learned the value of patience, adaptability, and grace under pressure. Caring for my mother required emotional strength, compassion, patience, and selflessness. Being a student and worker at the same time tested my time management and focus, often forcing me to stretch beyond what I thought I could handle. Teaching art allowed me to stay connected to creativity, even when life felt chaotic, and gave me a sense of purpose and expression.
Although each role came with its own weight, the intersection of these experiences has shaped me into someone who is deeply empathetic, disciplined, and driven. The hardships weren’t just obstacles—they were the foundation on which I’ve built a stronger, more grounded character.
