  • I built the side mount systems on the side mount assembly line.
  • I was mainly at stations 2 and 3, but I could run every station.
  • I would but the systems starting with the control arms, using a hydraulic press. Then I would mount the arms to the mobile jig, and use an overhead crane to drop the tank into the arms. After that, I would install rails and panels using impact wrenches, torque wrenches, ratchet sockets, and regular wrenches.
  • I would also help install harnesses and tubes, and also help with pressure testing the systems.
  • At the end of the line, we would skin the systems to enclose the tank and tubes, and install decals and doors.
  • Once completed, I would pick the entire system up with an overhead crane and drop it into a crate or pallet, and prepare it to be picked up for transportation.
  • Followed established quality control procedures throughout the entire assembly process.
  • Conducted visual inspections and checked for product defects.
