I am an undergraduate student with aspirations of becoming a forensics scientist at the federal or state level, or in clinical psychology or criminal psych evaluation. Currently, I am trying to build up some more work experience in the forensics field to further my career
Strengths: I consider myself a leader and problem solver. I am proficient in math and science, have great people skills, and am a very empathetic individual. I am not afraid to ask others for help when I need it.
Weaknesses: I struggle with procrastination and set standards that are sometimes too high for me and not high enough for others. I am also afraid to make others disappointed in me.
Completed rudimentary forensics investigations including InfraRed analysis of drugs, UV-visible spectrophotometry of salicylic acid in aqueous solutions, gas-chromatography of alcohol in liquid samples, gel-electrophoresis (DNA fingerprinting), developing latent fingerprints using different methods including dusting and superglue fuming, microscopic comparison of hair and fibers, and arson analysis using gas chromatography.
