• Research investigated reasons why young black male suicide rates are rising so rapidly.
• Analysis of interventions that can be used to combat this issue was also done.
• Conducted multiple literature reviews and research related to socioeconomic factors, racial discrimination, and stigmas associated with topics listed above.

• Conducted a study with Dr. Smith on Custodial Grandparent and Adolescent Grandchildren dyads and if a Self Delivered Intervention that was given could help broaden and strengthen relationships between them and their peers
• Compared and contrasted a multitude of variables between the dyads (age, gender, rates of watching and talking about said Self Delivered Intervention, and Attention Control Condition)
