- Digging on or close to utilities & power (spotter present) to locate fiber lines and identify crushed pipes and or cut fiber lines within a close proximity to where a break was located in the fiber. Problem solving is always involved in the fiber optics field which in turn I have developed a fairly good understanding of underground layouts & infrastructor.
- trenching and placing conduit before placing vaults and running mulestring so fiber is ready to be pulled or blown through the conduit (pipe). (Joint trench)
- Operating large compressor.
- Operating directional drills. (multiple)
- Operating Trachoe.
- Operating hydrovac.
- Operating larson for fiber reels.
- Operating trencher/plow. (multiple).
- Hauling equipment.
- Operating small dumptruck.
- Operating backhoe.
- Equipment maintenance.
- Versatility in skillset by understanding basic underground infrastructure while operating multiple types of heavy and small machinery/equipment to accommodate all project needs for completion and good results that adhered to safety protocalls in the field. sometimes customer interactions were also required and or needs met.
