- Coordinated with Federal, State, and local law enforcement and fire/rescue agencies during responses to two major shipboard fires. Managed witness interviews, and personnel coordination while agencies talked with over 500 personnel related to the incidents.

- As Senior Enlisted Law Enforcement Officer on the waterfront, worked with installation Police and Security Forces, as well as 12 other ships’ Security Forces to ensure Force Protection watches were completed with zero gaps, facilitated communications between personnel, and coordinated response to waterfront security responses.

  • Served as a Police Watch Commander, providing law

enforcement, physical security, and force protection services to the world’s largest Naval installation. Conducted Law Enforcement Patrols, Random Anti-Terrorism Measures, Surveillance Detection of assigned areas via mobile patrol, and the operation of specialized equipment designed to detect, deter, and defend against potential security breaches and terrorist activity. Led a diverse team of 120 Active Duty, Reserve, and Civilian personnel. Decorated three times for performance of duties during this tour.

  • Coordinated services within the Incident Command

System (ICS) for over one hundred emergency incidents, including Death Investigations, 12 VIP Visits, POTUS visit, King of Norway Visit, six ship commissioning ceremonies, two general public visits, as well as numerous criminal and traffic calls for service.

  • Facilitated qualifications of 28 Watch Commanders, 15

Field Training Officers, 48 Patrol Officers, and 12 Armorers. Conducted 12 Auxiliary Force courses of instruction, qualifying over 200 personnel. Coordinated Department training for over 400 personnel in all aspects of Law Enforcement, Force Protection and Physical Security.

Officer for the newest Naval Installation in over 30 years. Developed and drafted policies, plans, and procedures for use in daily operations and emergency responses. Created the first Anti-Terrorism Plan, Physical Security Plan, Emergency Operations Plan, Loss Prevention Plan; worked directly with Navy Region JAGs to draft MOUs for coordinated responses from host nation local and federal emergency agencies.

  • Led a diverse team of over 130 U.S. and Romanian

personnel. Interacted daily with Host Nation Military Command Staff in coordination of operations while Installation construction was completed, directed responses to incidents, often including contractors from over 12 separate countries. Planned, in coordination with the Security Officer, Public Works Officer, and Command Staff, the layout and installation of the brand-new Security Operations Center and Emergency Operations Center.

  • Conducted initial qualification training to the inaugural

crew and implemented multi-national training courses held between US and Romanian Military personnel. Liaised with local and federal law enforcement agencies during asset movements over host nation roadways.
