
As a security team member at Allied Universal, I worked at the Doctor's Center connected to Emory Hospital in Atlanta. I contributed to creating a safe environment for sick patients, hospital employees, and various visiting staff.
My duties included regular area patrols, securing vulnerable areas on the property, and controlling access to the property during non-business hours. In addition, I was tasked with responding to emergency events and trained in mass evacuation procedures.
As an armed security officer, my primary responsibility was to ensure the safety and well being of clients, employees, and customers at various businesses and facilities throughout the state of Georgia. My security posts were often in dangerous and high crime areas where I was able to use my expertise to appropriately handle unruly and violent persons as well as diffuse potentially hazardous situations.
As a Loss Prevention Officer at the Ross clothing store, my primary duties were to prevent theft and fraud from being committed by both customers and employees. My duties included monitoring cameras, noting suspicious activity, preventing safety hazards, and observing rules and standards in order to prevent store loss. I have caught quite a few thieves during my time working at this store. My effort helped to decrease the loss of merchandise.
As a Logistics Officer, I was responsible for procuring and maintaining supplies and materials so that military units could accomplish their missions and training obligations. I was responsible for the transportation, storage and safety of millions of dollars worth of government equipment. I ensured that individual soldiers had what they needed to survive on and off the battlefield.
As a combat Infantryman, I was tasked with engaging the enemies of America in close combat. I am trained in the use and care of multiple weapons and am skilled in unarmed combat as well. I have been deployed during war time and have served in both Afghanistan and the Iraq conflict. In addition to combat service, I was tasked with training member of the Afghanistan National Army which benefited the war effort and contributed to stability in that country.
As a member of an aviation maintenance team, my responsibilities were to ensure quality care for aircraft used by pilots of the United States Navy. Proper care and maintenance are important for the safety of pilots and it ensures mission success. The before and after care of any military plane was my highest priority and many accidents and mishaps may have been prevented due to my contributions.
