Preflighted electronic files received from customers, checked it for completeness, and formatted it into pages using Quark, InDesign, and Illustrator based on the dimensions of the paper stock being used. Color corrected files that needed touch up and made final proof to be sent to client. Used Prinergy and imposition software to setup files for plate.

Communicated with designers and production artists to help them create better press-ready printed pieces. Formulated a PDF product database using Version Cue of all designs to regulate an easier way to locate printable

files. Used Prinergy to setup up files in an imposition to send to rip and then to plate. Experience with image setters, rips and plate processors.

Pre-flighted and adjusted magazine and catalog files to match prepress standards. Proofed files, checking for any mistakes and worked with pressman to correct any problems before it ran on press.

Made changes to clients markup hard copy. Took their digital files in Quark, Photoshop and Illustrator and made the appropriate changes. Collected files for output and burned to cd for the vendors to print.

Created advertising ads for local businesses to be printed in a monthly mailer. Took photos of specific product shots with a digital camera downloading pictures to computer to place in document.

Prepared graphics for print on mylar balloons. Used trapping software to trap the colors in the graphic files. Plotted film and made color keys to check for any trapping issues and worked directly with pressman supervisor to

make sure product printed correctly.
