Firefighter/EMT

Summary

My career in this field started when my boss at my last job as a construction worker told me I would be a good firefighter. This was a realization for me as I never had thought about firefighting and had no family or friends in the fire service at that time. after a few weeks of pondering that idea I quit my comfortable job that I had worked my way up for 4 years and fully committed my life to being a firefighter. every day since then I am always making ground to be better at my job and learning more, this is an ongoing journey and I want to find my forever home that I can truly build and hone my skills as a firefighter!

the best thing about this career that I most definetly was missing in construction is the pride in our work and the work mentality to always learn something new and improve yourself.
