Summary

Emergency Medical Technician level II with 3.5 years experience working as an interfacility transfer EMT. During this time I worked closely with both long-term care personnel and acute care personnel across all floors of the hospital most notably in the NICU and ICU. As part of my job, I was tasked with working with flight crews comprised of paramedics, nurses, and depending on the patient, specialists such as neonatal nurse practitioners and physicians. I have experience as both a subordinate and lead medic and preceptor having trained multiple co-workers on how to formally operate machinery and how to utilize EHRs. I have a strong want to work in the NICU and ICU as I prepare to continue my education from ASN to BSN and eventually NNP.
