My name is Joshua Nicholas Harding. I have a three year old daughter and engaged to be married. I'm a hard working man who prides myself in what I do at home for family and in the work I do to insure I can provide for them. Im not perfect by any means but that doesn't mean it's not something to strive for. I've worked for for a lot of jobs in my young adult life but I've never had a bad report from any of my fellow co-workers or the people that I have had contact with in my time with the companies. Im very high on treating people with respect even in time of adversity. I have purpose every day in making sure that I fulfill my deeds at home and at work in hopes that my child and the people around me can have a better future. I believe I would be a great candidate for this job because I know the men that work the swing shift and the night crew and have a great professional relationship with them along with already having the knowledge of the campus. Im great with my hands and a quick learning with hands on projects.
I primarily take care of the beds and miscellaneous projects. I am responsible for getting the beds to rooms for housekeepers. I inspect bed frame and plugs, fixing the issues within my ability before having to send them to the bed maintenance shop. In addition, I was over smaller projects such as curtains and curtain tracks, paper towel dispensers, and setting up for events that were being held at the hospital. I have helped in projects involving maintenance; ie: flooding putting up containment for flood and installing curtain tracks. While doing this job it has given me the full knowledge of the campus here at Central. I also have the knowledge of how to interact and be professional around patients their families and the rest of the hospital staff.
