• Performed various MIG, TIG and other types of welding temporary jobs, to include working as a contract welder for Strom Engineering where I performed the welding of boats using aluminum wire 0.35/ 0.45.
• Used to measuring devices to measure boat length reviewed blueprint drawings for finish welding, and used hand tools including grinders and plasma cutters.

• Conducted the MIG/TIG welding of parts and components via the studying of blueprints and engineering drawings to determine project task sequences and requirements, while handling the positioning, moving, and installing of materials.

• Led the coordination and planning of daily machining workload via the review of work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials needed, location of surfaces, and machining parameters, while interpreting and ensuring conformance to all GD&T specifications.
• Perform own setups by positioning and aligning tooling per specifications using CNC programming language.
• Planned stock inventory by determining materials needed, verifying on-hand stock, and placing/expediting material orders to meet needs.
• Conducted the set-up and programming of CNC mills and lathes by entering instruction including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, compensation, and conditional switches.
• Maintained specifications by observing drilling, grooving and cutting processes, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chase operations.

Used mig welding technique to repair broken welds a long way with grinding and using a fork truck to load parts into the fixture.
